Social-emotional competencies – self-acceptance and self-confidence

Our capacity to accept ourselves and be accepted depends on our ability to adapt and fit into the world around us. Understanding our emotions is the first step to being able to accept, control, and influence them. We can discover and develop in the world of emotions, establish positive relationships, create empathy, and learn true values. Every change is neutral unless we add color!

Authenticity - Just be!

Authenticity is a story about a deep understanding of yourself, of everything we are when we are by ourselves, and of having the courage to speak up about who we are. From the many messages coming from parents, friends, and the media about how to behave, what to do, whom we should become, and what is the measure of success it is not easy to find OUR voice, which tells us our truth. The question is how can we be who we are and at the same time respect the limits that others have set up around us?

Accepting diversity- A zone that brings value

We often choose people, groups, and challenges that are similar to us or our previous experiences based on. However, by keeping in the comfort zone of the usual and similar, we do not acquire new knowledge or values; we remain in the sphere of predictable ideas, thoughts, and actions. One of the most crucial values we have is diversity. This implies that individuals from various backgrounds can gather together, exchange their unique perspectives and experiences, and learn from one another!

Creative style

Creative style is a style of thinking. Creative styles do not say how much creative each of us is but answer the question HOW CREATIVE AM I?

Creativity is more than only the ability to play an instrument, dance, or paint. People who are creative are individuals who think up innovative solutions to many life issues but who refuse to follow and accept or conform to conventional ways of thinking.

This is how we approach solving problems or concerns we may have in any aspect of our lives.

Critical Thinking - Critical thinking is different from criticizing

Criticizing is easy. We don’t need intellectual effort for that.

It is essential to identify which facts are important in the ocean of diverse data, especially through digital media. How do we get to the right insights and not hypotheses (own and other’s)?

In order to think critically, one must be able to focus on analysis, understanding, comparing, examination, and information generation. This is the highest level of thinking that a person can develop.

Innovative Thinking - a skill that can be cultivated and learned

The processes that make up the cycle of innovative thinking start with the creative process, which is just the beginning, and continue through multiple points of view, learning from mistakes, research, information gathering, curiosity growth, and application in real life.

Innovation through DESIGN THINKING!

Design Thinking is an approach to solving problems in a creative way. Many organizations around the world, such as Google, Samsung, and Apple use this approach to encourage innovation.

This is an approach that puts users and their needs at the center. We develop unexpected solutions to the problem we are researching by combining the logic and creativity of the left and right hemispheres of the brain. It may be used to solve a variety of issues across all industries.

We practice understanding others and their needs through the steps of this unconventional approach: Empathy, Definition, Prototyping, and Testing. We additionally practice reflection, creativity, problem-solving, and idea evaluation and execution.
